Environmental
We strive to operate consciously through waste reduction, pollution prevention and the efficient use of resources. We operate our plants and facilities in compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations and set goals to go beyond the standards. We seek to reduce, reuse and recycle our waste to extend economical possibilities. Our partnership with UPCYCLE allows us donate our used electronics for second life and prevent landfill buildup.
Nan Ya Plastics South Carolina facilities’ dedication to environmental conservation extends past production and product awareness. Our continual involvement with protecting the environment for the future can be seen in our dedicated wildlife preserve located on the eastern end of the plant-site.
This preserve consists of :
- One hundred (100) acres of grass and vegetation area maintained by Nan Ya Plastics.
- Thirty (30) acres of protected woodlands area.
- Nine (9) acres duck pond maintained according to South Carolina Water Fowl Association Standards to encourage fowl habitats.
- Wooden duck boxes designed and placed according to South Carolina Water Fowl Association Standards.
- Thick tree lines maintained around perimeter of preserve to create a sound pollution barrier for residing animals.
- Large open grasslands managed to encourage deer and other grazing animals.
Product
We are making investments in energy-efficient production equipment and
waste management programs through our plant site.

Nan Ya Plastics has memberships with the National Association PET Container Resources (NAPCOR), Southern Textile Association (STA) and National Council of Textile Organization (NCTO). Meanwhile, we have been actively supporting more than 50 local community organizations.
